It does not look like a Rolls, and I can't make out the hood on them so I don't know if it's a Jaguar. The things I recognize are obviously British, but I wondered about those two. Way back in the '70s, when I was in college, I used to see this Corvair running up and down the streets with Lake Pipes. And I would wonder what kind of moron would put side exhaust pipes on a rear engine car. Everybody knew that the Corvair had a rear engine. Surely I wasn't the only one in town laughing every time I saw that car. Then one day I'm at the gas station where a friend of mine works. And that Corvair is up on the rack. They're changing the oil. In the front of the car. The owner had dropped a 327 Corvette engine in the trunk. If there's someone dumb enough to put an engine and the front of a Corvair, then there's probably someone dumb enough to put an engine in the front of a VW Beetle.
