Sedalia Dave
Does anyone make a thinner grip for a Uberti SAA Specifically the 1860 Army. Looking for something that is the equivalent of the Eagle Gunfighter grips for a Ruger Vaquero.
Imis Twohofon,SASS # 46646
Check with NC Ordnance. I put a nice set on one of my Ubertis after last years TN State match. Imis
Abilene, SASS # 27489
Dave, I would like to know myself, but for Uberti Navy and SAA, not Army. All of my Colt / Uberti grips feel large in my smaller hands. I have one pair of Bar-S Tru-Ivory grips (unfortunately no longer in business) that were made thinner by request, and they feel great so I have been moving those grips and their gripframes from one set of guns to another. If I had a belt sander I would probably thin some of my other grips. I look forward to any good suggestions you might get.
Will Kane
Sedalia Dave, you might consider contacting Henry Lance at Texas Grips in Corpus Christi. https://texasgrips.com/ He made me some very nice checkered gunfighter extended grips for my OM Vaqueros.
