Years ago I kept passing up on Marlin 39A’s and Winchester 9422’s because “I will get around to getting one later.” Well, it’s later and none are available new in the box unless you want to pay dearly for them. I guess I should quit bellyaching. If I really want one they are attainable...I just do not want to pay that high for them. I have debated on just buying one of the nicer Henry’s. I guess they just haven't found the price point/value level to make a buck. With all the "tactical" hardware, lever guns are not a big ticket item in the LGS.
