El CupAJoe
So is there such a thing as an illegal single shot shotgun as long as the sights conform and they aren't plastic stocked? the walmart hatford? H&R? I have costuming "reasons" for asking...
PaleWolf Brunelle, #2495L
Quote Shotgun Requirements Any side-by-side or single shot shotgun typical of the period from approximately 1860 until 1899 with or without external hammers, having single or double triggers is allowed. Automatic ejectors are allowed on single shot break action, lever, and pump action shotguns ONLY. SHB p.

PaleWolf Brunelle, #2495L
IMO, 1920 is too far past 1899...even though the base firearm design qualifies. I'll see if I can get an answer from the ROC on this one.
Colorado Coffinmaker
Just as an aside . . . Shot with a fella for a couple of seasons that used a 20Ga, Single shot H&R. He could keep up with the 97 guys and gals. Was a hoot to watch. This missive add no real content for the OP. Just a bit of Tuesday Evening commentary of trivial pursuit. Should you choose to ignore this missive, I'll not take offense. I'd probably ignore it myself. But, if you have gotten this far, it's too late. Yer HERE!! Rooster Ron Wayne
I used a H&R Single shot 12g with a Ejector. ( Because it's a single shot, it is legal to leave the ejector intact) I Shot with Cap and Ball Pistols and a Henry 1860 rifle . All was shot with full load BP shells . Yes it was Slow , A ton of fun . A lot of smoke too. AND makes everyone CHOKE ! That really put a smile on my face.
