Lonestar Hoss, SASS# 50131
I have a nickel Colt 1911 that according to Colt's website looks to be made in 2006, so probably a series 80. I'm just not sure, as I bought it several years ago as a back up for Wild Bunch. It doesn't have a box, but will ship in a padded rug. I carried it for a while as EDC, and with the original mag and WC mags, it never has a problem. It isn't perfect, but is reliable, and what I thought was set up nice for WB modern with a larger slide stop and mag release. I put the elk grips on from Grasshorn, and it just feels right. If you have any questions, shoot me a PM, or email me at lonestarhoss50131 at yahoo.com First "I,ll Take It" here & PM to me will have it. I would like $1200 shipped from my FFL to yours. Lonestar Hoss, SASS# 50131
Thanks for straightening that out for me. Someday I will learn the right phrase. I did check the slide, and it is a series 80. The only bad thing about 1911's is that they seem to want lots of friends like them. Appreciate the kind words.
