WTB 9mm 1911

Recommended Posts

You might consider this one, I am a long time 1911 shooter and this exceeded my expectations.  Just a thought...

WTB a 9mm 1911. I have my eyes on a springfield armory ronin 1911 but if you have something else let me know. Thanks

A few years back I had a Springfield Range Officer , was a really nice shooter. Alas , something else came along and I sold it. Not familiar with the Ronin , but it is probably a good choice.

Just recently got another 1911 9mm , it is the Ruger LW Commander. Very nice also.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations.

I let 45 acp ruger 1911 full size get away a few years back and now wanting to get back in I'm trying to limit my calibers.

Dumb question, does anyone have one for sale?

Clay, I have one that is currently on Gunbroker, a Colt pre 70s commander (circa 1953) a bit of a collectible, and its in excellent condition GB#895852097

Its been my carry for over 20 years, but due to retirement and health it’s got to go!

good luck with your search!

Wes

Well, I'm sure someone does... And it is not a dumb question.

I have no complaint about my Springfield "Champion Operator" Commander.45 ACP, and my lady just picked up a used Springfield EMP 9mm, sort of like an Officer size for comparison (bigger than a Mustang).

Keep looking and asking, they are out there. But if the price is stupid, hold off a few months.

Knife Works did have a Springfield Champion RO in 9mm yesterday (photo credit to my lady). Not the Ronin stainless (or aluminum Cerakote), but bet it would shoot good:

Give them a call.
