CRITICAL UPDATE: The Ninth Circuit court just announced that the upcoming Duncan en banc hearing is postponed until June 22. That means that friend-of-the-court “amicus” briefs supporting the government’s ban on possession of standard capacity magazines must be filed by March 18th, and briefs opposing the ban and supporting our position that the ban is unconstitutional must be filed by April 1.

With this extra time, the state is now pulling together all of the “usual suspects” of the gun ban lobby to pile on the baloney through lots of legal briefs arguing to keep Prop 63’s disastrous and useless ammo and firearm bans alive and going strong.

We MUST oppose this effort with all we’ve got.

So CRPA’s A-Team lawyers are in all-out war mode, preparing the legal arguments to facilitate a court victory that should ultimately end Gunmageddon once and for all.

But after speaking with our lawyers and CRPA staff, we realize that we need to fuel up our Litigation Victory Fund so we can prepare for this HUGE fight in court.

Remember -- we defeated this thing in court -- twice! Then the state fought back and reinstated Gunmageddon just as quickly as we WON. This is the reality for law-abiding gun owners across California, we step forward only to get knocked back. But even in the face of constant opposition and uphill battles, CRPA will not stop fighting back and pushing forward. Never. We are right. They are wrong. So we fight on.

Join us as we take a stand and prepare for the road ahead.

Court cases take a lot of time and demand a big financial commitment from CRPA -- because it takes extreme effort and commitment from our world-class lawyers to actually win.

The stakes are high. This Duncan case could result in Gunmageddon and Prop 63 being struck down FOR GOOD.
