Any idea who actually is making these Gatling guns?

I have an advertisement for one that was a little shorter in barrel length.  I will see if I can remember where I stashed it and post a copy.  They were like $38K new, but they were an exact reproduction.

I always thought it would be awesome to make one that ran on .38's.  Figure the barrels could be bought, but the rest would need to be fabricated.  Shouldn't even be that difficult, just time consuming.  Maybe when I finally get caught up on life, say the year 2525. :P

I saw in a gun magazine that someone was making a 9mm that takes Glock mags. Don't remember who.

That is Tippmann Armory.

Stumpman up in Arkansas has one in 45 colt. Don't know who made it or perhaps he did. He has brought it to Bar 3 a few times and let people shoot their own ammo through it.

No price on it.

If you have to ask-you can't afford it??

They have a "distributor" on Gunbroker that is selling them for $8500 shipped.

Did it seem to run good?

Oh yeah. On many different types of ammo.

One of the beauties of the Gatling system is it's relative disregard for ammunition variabilities.  I've often thought about chambering a Gatling in .357 Maximum with a Bruce Feeder set up to receive from 50 round plastic pistol boxes.  just dump in anything from 38 LC to 357 Max and crank away!  No pesky magazine springs, fastest way to turn money into empty brass.

Such a system mounted on one of these is definitely on my bucket list and one of the reasons I'm motivated to get out of debt faster :D

Wondering if anyone would get the reference.  ;)

Hey, I remember that from when I was just a little boy, standing to my Daddy's knee.

That goes back a bit. Always was depressing to me. I was a kid and going through parents' garbage so, not a good time anyway. Funny how, in a round-about way, we can recall stuff from the past that was somehow prophetic in what is going on today. Yes, today's news is depressing as well. Enough of that, let's go shoot somethin'!
