Marshall John Joseph
Would love if Cimarron or Taylor’s would get Uberti to produce and add to their lineup an 1873 musket in 44-40 and 45lc. Would buy one in an instant. What say you? Crossfire Trail nice but in a very expensive caliber. MJJ
Mad Dane, SASS#5536
Uberti has made a few of them in the past-I own one.
Colorado Coffinmaker
Not a large enough market. Doubt Uberti could sell enough them to pay for the tool-up and wood.
July Smith
Mad Dane is right, I have seen musket configured Ubertis on Gunbroker from time to time.

I think it's harder to find than the musket, but yes. Stretch Hester with his 44wcf Uberti '66.

Abilene, SASS # 27489
A little story about Stretch Hester. At an Alamo Area Moderators match long ago, the shotgun targets were one-foot sections of landscaping timbers that were set on top of little stands stuck in the ground, and they had to be knocked off. Stages all had berms, so resetting them could be done. So once Stretch is there with the musket - he cleared it first secretly with the RO, and he left a shotgun target standing on purpose and at the end he charged it and stabbed it with the bayonet. I think they gave him a hit.
