ACW,

How long is the barrel on this H&R Sharps?

Are you looking for a Garrett cartridge or percussion rifle or carbine?

I have a Garrett Arms replica of Sharps percussion carbine. Are you interested?

These are great rifles....love mine.  Mine does not have the rear sight yours does.  It just has the tang sight.  I wish it did.  Did you add it?

No, the sight came with it

The rear sight was not standard from H&R, someone added it to the rifle, it is required to shoot in some of the SASS long range military rifle matches as they will not allow the use of a tang sight in those matches. I have one of the officers rifles made my H&R in 1973.

Mine has the tang sight. I believe They were standard on the H&R officers model.

a 305 grn Bullet with 14.2 Unique is a nice load for this rifle.

Not sure who had the rear sight installed but I thought the original owner had had H&R install it.

Who knows 40 or so years later.....

I'm looking for a Garrett Sharps now.
