Canton Chris Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 I’m gonna take a stab at reloading 12 brass shotshells. Are there any issues (ie excess pressure) running 10 or 11 gauge nitro & fiber wads thru my SKB? They sure seem awfully tight in my barrels. Sorry, it’s probably a dumb question but I was wondering? Thnx!

I've been shooting ALL BRASS 12Ga hulls for a LONG time now with no problems and NONE of the other shooters I have contact with, who shoot ALL brass have any trouble with the recommended wads. GO FOR IT!!

H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619 Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 Those wads never give me any trouble in my 97s, 87s, or my Parkers. Or in 20 gauge, my Stevens pump. And it's a lot of fun seeing all the debris and confetti they spew on the line.

Mud Marine,SASS#54686 Life Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 I load 10 3-1/2 "and 20 gauge shells with Fg Holy black using Walters, nitro, fiber and over shot wads cemented with Duco Cement. I have fired thousands of rounds of them over the last decades. I loaded the 20s for youth. The tens functioned flawlessly. The 20s sometimes failed to knock down the targets.
