Northern Alabama

Due to some upcoming life changes, there is a very good chance that I will be relocating to northern Alabama south of Huntsville in time for the 2022 shooting season. Just looking for potential club recommendations. Thanks!

North Alabama Regulators and Old York Shootist's are the two clubs in your general area. NAR shoots the 1st Sunday and OYS the 4th Sunday. Both are a ton of fun. NAR also hosts both the Alabama State Match and the Southeast Regional. South of you in Birmingham there are two more clubs, North of you in Wartrace, TN. They shoot on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays and host the Tennessee State Championship. In the Chattanooga area there are also two clubs. You will be able to shoot every weekend some twice within a 2 hour drive. Plenty of shooting to be had in the area.

Barkeep laid it out right!!  You can ‘bout throw rocks from one range to the next!!

Keep in mind, you’re moving into the middle of OUTLAW territory!!  Lots of good folks, great clubs, fantastic ranges, and shoots beyond belief!!

For those in Alabama who have not yet met Stirrup Trouble, you’re getting a fine cowboy gentleman.  I wish he had chosen Missouri, but perhaps he will visit us.

The range is Cavern Cove Competitive Shooting, we host SASS, USPSA, Steel Challenge, PCC and NRL 22 matches.

At the Range we have 48 RV camping spots as well as rooms for rent on the range. These can be rented for monthly shoots.

The North Alabama Regulators host the Alabama State and SE Regional Championships. Branchwater Jack is our stage writer he does a Great job with stage design and keeping things interesting.

Yes Barkeep hangs out with us at The NAR shoots, we let hang around because of his free bar. That and he likes to hug Badgers.

You just have to remember that when you cross that Alabama state line, you have to set your watch back 20 years and 1 hour.

And damn proud of it, too!

In this day and age, that doesn't seem like a bad thing
