wyliefoxEsquire
Using a wet tumbler with ss pins about 1/2 teaspoon automatic dishwashing detergent and 90 minutes. Theses are stainless cylinders. I clean one at a time. The insides are like new! I would not do blued cylinders.

Crazy Gun Barney, SASS #2428
SD beat me to it. My cylinders looked like that too until I started shooting black powder. All the black stains disappeared after that first day of shooting the One True Powder.
Doc Coles SASS 1188
If you are cleaning stainless steel guns just wipe the cylinders down with a Birchwood Casey lead remover cloth and they come out great. Don’t do this on a blue gun as it will remove the blue.
Abilene, SASS # 27489
Why even bother? They are just going to get dirty again.
