I'm learning more about reloading than I wanted too!

So, while Shanley is out making the $$...I went about reloading.

I was clipping along, in my groove when....

Dang machine jambed up!!!

Well, I start poking around, and see a couple of used primers sitting at stage one...and one has the plate jambed.

Well, I clear that one... and the light bulb comes on.

I shouldn't be seeing ANY used primers.

Sure enough, not a single one in the little blue cup!!!

Have to say I am proud of my self. I got a coat hanger, and emptied ALL of what had to have been last matches used primers...

All ammo is loaded for Shanley and I for Fire &Ice!!!

Hahahaha!

(I used to go out and cast, and reload all the ammo...but I got lazy!)

Have confidence.  They'll go *Bang!*  ;)

I gotta be something WRONG , the girls unload it , lots faster than I can load it

and I gotta clean the guns they shoot to boot

  CB

Well...when he 'let' me retire...I told him I needed to learn how to cast, load and clean my guns!!!

And all in all I have had few issues.

One was at WR after cleaning, I did not get my base pin fully in.

So at Coozies, I pull the hammer back, and SPIN!!!

Do it a second time and SPIN!!!

Just about the time Joe Maglue figures it out, I do too...push it in, AND IT FIRES 5 CONSECUTIVE ROUNDS!!!

Lucky me!!!

(There's a story about the Star Lubicizer....but that's a post of its own!)

Sue,

What reloader are you using?

We like the Square Deal B by Dillon.

We have one set up for .38 and one for .45.

Only 4 stations, easy to watch for errors.

Use the Mech for shotgun.

(Although I have 4 old Behr I love...just can't figure out how to fix it from crushing shells)

let me know the secret if you get it figured out.  I bought a .38 SDB two years ago and have not gotten a good box (50) of ammo out of it yet.

Send it back for a refurb.

They redid my first one with a full page of replacement parts...$0

$60 for the refurb.

If Dillon feels it is a product failure, they cover it at no cost.
