Bugler
I couldn't resist having some fun at Gunshow last weekend. Lots of grumpy people looking for overpriced stuff....there wasn't any....it was insanely priced. Displayed this on my table.....got a lot of chuckles and grins lightening the day for some folks. Limit was one to a family.... Randy

Goody, SASS #26190
IIRC the first I was buying would have been in the 1974-5 time period. That's when I turned 18. They were $8.99 at Walmart. Target, etc.
Abilene, SASS # 27489
Heck, I found a .22LR on the ground at my last match that was in good shape and was not a hollowpoint. Jackpot!
Warden Callaway
Dad talked about walking to the country store and buying 5 22 shorts for a penny. He was expected to bring home something for the pot.
Wyatt Earp SASS#1628L
Seem to recall in the early 60's from when my dad and older brother would buy a few 50 round boxes to go jackrabbit hunting, they were around 25 cents a box.
Pee Wee #15785
The general store in my home town would sale .22 rounds for a penny or $0.35 per box of 50. I spent a lot of nickels there. They went through a Crome actioned blond stocked single shot .22. Wish dad hadn't"t sold it after I went in the Navy.
Crusty
Wow! If I'd known you had one of those I'd driven down to Billings! Probably would have hit the Olive Garden too!
