Alpo
As I understand it, in New York you need a permit to own a pistol. Every pistol you own is listed on your pistol permit. If you do not have a pistol permit it is illegal for you to touch a pistol. So if I want to take my friend Bill out and let him shoot my gun, if he doesn't have a New York State pistol permit the two of us have both broken the law. Is all that correct? Does the ownership permit also count as a carry permit? If I have a New York State pistol permit, does it allow me to carry concealed? I know it does not in New York City. New York City has their own rules, and to hell with what the rest of the state was to do. But outside the city?
