Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329
Slim: For the green loaders: You put in the powder, then the patched RB in the other end. Make sure both caps are snug, & put a percussion cap in the slot on an endcap. It's really a "quick-loader" for hunting -- everything in one little unit that you can clip in your breast pocket. Convenient. For the wooden RB holder: You put the patched RB in -- friction fit--with Some of the patch-covered ball sticking out of the back. When it comes time to put the RB in the gun. Just put the protruding patch-covered end over the muzzle, take your short-starter, and push it right into the barrel. --Dawg

Springfield Slim SASS #24733
Thanks Dawg. I knew about the tubes but have never seen the wooden holder before. That's a good idea if you are going to shoot more than two, may have to make one for my 2- 50 cal flintlock pistols and percussion rifle.
