Eat that one first to erase the mistake.

I guess I never had a good scone.  Glad they have fans, you can have mine.

Now, if you reach for the last cat's head biscuit, there might be a problem.

Scones are excellent if made correctly. Good with coffee or Scotch. ;)

I have some fond memories of scones.

When Hubby taught me to shoot (SASS guns, 22 years ago) we'd go by Rancho Murieta (yes that is how it is spelled) on the way to the range. There was a coffee shop there that sold scones. I'd get a coffee and a scone. Yummy!

Fisher Scones are popular around here. They were first served at the 1913 Puyallup Washington State Fair. The recently sold their 100 million scone at the same State Fair. That is 100,000,000. That is a lot of Scones. They are in a world of their own, but I did not find scones made with the flour sold in stores to taste the same. Maybe it was my baking.

I like scones. Best scone I ever had was at a Starbucks. Who’d a thunk it.

They actually have some pretty good ones. When there’re fresh.

Aren't they the small, wall mounted, candle stick holders? Never mind, that's sconces..........

Look up Granny Annie's scone recipe: it's about the best ever I ever tasted.  It's nothing like any other recipe you've seen before.

Are those the fried ones?

Yup. I put blueberries in mine even though the recipe called for chocolate chips.

I actually prefer jelly or Jam with mine, but then again I also enjoy peanut butter with the jelly/jam.

Apricot or grape jam  is my personal preference.
