In that vein, I like the remake of that film, “Always”. Directed by Spielberg, starring Richard Dreyfus, Holly Hunter, John Goodman and more.

My wife watches the Hallmark Channel for uplifting movies. Their not. All they do is make me want to poke my eyes out with a stick.
