I've not seen any low recoil, course not looking. There are two search engines I use, AmmoSeek and AmmoBuy. 90% is FMJ, HP's are pretty scarce and expen$ive. Lowest price is usually 70 cents per round, then they stick you for $15-20 shipping and many are charging tax as well. Local stores in Abilene have nada.

Chili,

might I ask what is your definition of '9 lite'?   I've never seen nor heard of any, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I have reloaded some good practice stuff but its a 115 grain slug at around 1000 fps.

Some of my more robust stuff is 125 grain with measurable more V-los-Sa-T,  if you know what I mean.

Isn't all 9mm light recoil???:P:P

Depends on the gun you're shooting it out of. I have one that recoils more with 115 grain Winchester HP's than my wife's M&P does with the same ammo!

Howdy,

Hornady for one sells 9mm lite.

Try a search sometime. It shows all sorts of things.

Im trying to get my sister to use a 9 to replace her .380.

My search shows how totally out of ammo we are.

Its all a communist plot.....

N illinois pards I have a wide variety of other calibers.

Or I could trade regular 9mm if that helps.

My wifes experience with a sig 238 in 380 (which she is very proficient with) led to her "acquiring" my 938 in 9mm. Very similar in size and weight with a slight advantage to the 938 weight wise. She has had wrist and shoulder problems for years and really did not like practicing with the 380 as it was considerably more "snappy" and quite a bit louder than my 9mm. Although I do download a 115 grain FMJ for her it is actually very similar to factory 9mm ballistics. and she has not noticed when we switch back and forth between the two.

as always YMMV

Regards

No apology necessary!! I get what you were saying.;) I have a Ruger SR9 and it shoots 9mm with hardly any recoil, my Shield on the other hand has quite a bit of recoil with the same ammo!
