El CupAJoe Posted January 29, 2021 Share Posted January 29, 2021 anyone here ever play Mario Cart Double dash? it was a take on the Mario Cart game where two players would operate the same race car. the driver would focus on driving and the passenger would focus on interacting with the other racers, the positions would switch when it would be advantageous to do so. Kinda like a stage coach driver and the fella ridin shotgun. How about a doubles/sidekick/ridin shotgun category to spice things up a bit? It would be like a team match but it would be played alongside or during a main match. Teams of two would sign up, each with a long gun and a side arm, One team member would run the rifle the whole match and one would run the shotgun the whole match. their times would be scored against either other double contestants or against singles. Category would be determined by the least common category they both adhere to. Rules for movement would have to be established to ensure safe range operation, but it could be fun to see what that brings to the game strategically. Losses in time for both shooters needing to occupy the same space could be made up for by the ability to be in multiple places at the same time if safety permits.
