My spouse's homeopathic doctor told her if she needed it, that he would make sure she received it. He never said it was a cure...but that it could help in the severity of it.  

He also upped her intake of vitamin D3, and zinc...which seem to be deficient in those that get it, and have problems with it. 

No sense in letting things like this get out to the public...that might cut into someone's profit margin.

I will leave my political comments at the door but I will say this, when this all started I heard Dr. Oz on the radio stating that everyone should be taking lots of Vitamin C, Vitamin D3 and Zinc. I recall him also saying HCQ is a good  thing to  take IF you get CoVid. Think what you will about Dr. Oz, but I went and did some research and by golly, he was right.

I take  1000mg of Vitamin C twice a day, 1000 in the AM and 1000 in the PM. 

I take Costco Triple Flex supplements with Vitamin D3 - 50 mcg, which is 2 1/2  times the daily recommended requirement.

I take Costco "Nature's Bounty" Zinc caplets 50mg each/. That's 500% of the daily  recommended allowance. I take these  at night so I  don't taste zinc all day.

I also  take a multi-vitamin and some other supplements. I do hope I do not get CoVid, but I am doing what I can to keep it form affecting me.

Actually, no.  Everyone will have an excuse,  blame will not be assigned, justice will not be served.   Even the nobodies will not endure punishment because they are, by definition, nobodies.

 

Are you still expecting something from the DOJ’s Durham Investigation?  Do you still believe in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny?

 

Washington will never punish their own.

I had COVID during the last week of July last year. My wife isa retired RN and had me on Z pack, nebulizer, abuteral inhaler. My fever went to 104 and i was gasping for breath. We went to our small local hospital. They had no beds available. They gave me oxygen and the doctor administered the hydroxguine shot President Trump praised. They sent me home and said if I did not get better then Cindy better brake me to Baton Rouge or Jackson where they might have a ventilator. The next day my fever broke, I was able to breath easier and was over the COVID.  I was short winded for a few months and found out I had some fluid in my lungs but am now about over it all.  We are convinced that shot and prayer saved me.  Irish ☘️ Pat

To me, here is what I consider the unvarnished truth.

President Trump, went before cameras, and touted the use of this product, stating it was not a cure, and was developed for a different problem, but state that the research, thus far, indicated it could help with the severity, and symptoms, of the corona virus. I know this for a fact, because I sat here and watched him say that. The leftists, the news media, the liberals, the democrats, the late night talk show hosts, the actors, all jumped on that to criticize him, and all that took that advice seriously. As I recall, they, in effect, blasted him for recommending that, and said he was not in the medical field, and that this product was a waste of time. He got major grief from most all directions, over this...yet nothing was ever said that it was a cure. It was stated that it could help, based on the research that had been done. 

It all boils down to them having an unnatural/unreasonable/acid hatred, for the President, and for his administration. They were so shallow that they let their own personal opinions, and prejudices, become more important than the research facts. To me, those people had a part in causing the deaths of anyone that had the corona virus, who failed to receive this medicine, that could have helped in the severity, and could possibly have saved a life. Their blind, hard-headed, disgusting, personal attitude, and willful desire to go against the President, no matter what he said or recommended, now stains their hands with the blood of anyone the medicine might have been able to help. They put their own selves, and their own opinions, ahead of the innocent victims, for nothing but political points. The truth, is the truth, no matter who says it. The truth should be supported, no matter who says it. 

 

There will be an accounting. Perhaps not in this age, or in this existence, but just as sure as death, and taxes, it will happen. There is no escape.

Interesting note:  I have been told all along I should not be able to get COVID because I've been taking Hydoxychloroquine for about 5 years now.  BUNKY!!!!  I have a mild case for COVID, as cases of COVID go, but I still got one.  This has been one miserable week.  I can't seem to get rid of the drippy nose and my fever comes and goes, low fever but a fever all the same, achy joints especially my back, nausea and general lethargy.  If this is as bad as I get, I'm happy with that.  I wish it would all go away so I can start feeling better again.  I can't take vitamin C but I have been taking the zinc and lots of fluids.  We are waiting on a second COVID test to see if I test positive on this one. 

 

What I'm trying to get at is there is no such thing as a cure all.  It may work for some or most of the people but not for everyone.

Can't add much to what Waxahachi Kid wrote, quite a good summary. It's not like HCQ is some new experimental drug, it's been in use for like 60 years. It's used quite a bid for RA. Certainly not a magic bullet, but it is SOME treatment when we had nothing. Whatever small risk might exist is certainly less than from the virus. That's been one of the main problems with this whole trainwreck, too much politics involved.
