bgavin
Sad to say it, but we can't stop it. There is now a Democrat trifecta, and they will do what they will. Link to comment
Rye Miles #13621
We have one democrat, and one republican, The republican, Rob Portman is pro gun but he's retiring and not running in 2020. I hope we can get another republican to replace him. Ohio went for Trump but the democrat Sherod Brown keeps getting elected and I don't know how! Link to comment
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967
Tragically, my home state has pretty much fallen. It's not worth the ink or keystrokes to write to our two senators, Feinstein and Padilla (Harris's replacement). The same pretty much applies to 42 of the 53 current representatives from this state - they are part of their "party machine," and owe fealty to their party bosses, rather than their constituents. As of last year, California had 51 representatives in Congress. Of those fifty-one, almost half were not native Californians - 20 from other states and 5 from other countries. Link to comment

As long as they actually are believing in the Constitution, Bill of Rights and are Conservative. Not saying they aren’t but I am getting tired of the 4-5 Senators that keep being Rhinos.
