Alpo 6,659
You are severely dehydrated. You have been out in the heat, and the sun, without any water, for a long long time. Then suddenly you have access to water. you have a bottle of it sitting on the counter, and a bottle of it sitting in the refrigerator. Would you grab the room temperature water or the chilled water? Fast Tracker 42
If you are overheated too, grab the cold water to bring your core temperature down. If you are just dehydrated, the room temperature water is more easily absorbed. Edited January 22 by Fast Tracker Spelling
Blackwater 53393 5,698
I’d grab BOTH!! I’d drink the room temperature water first while I pressed the chilled bottle against my neck, first on one side then the other. When the warmer water was gone, I’d open the cool water and drink it slowly!
