Raylan Posted January 15, 2021 Share Posted January 15, 2021 Got a call from Starline and they will be shipping my 45-70 brass Monday, wahoo! Finally got my mag release in my Glock 43x swapped out from the original plastic to steel, that was a pain, you really need the right screw driver (too thick don't work, too small don't work, gotta be long enough and with a sharp and thin enough blade to pop the spring) but it's done. And first day off of primary from work, so can relax a bit. Now if I could just find more large rifle primers, IMR 4198 powder, and they would ship the rest of my bullets. Anyway it's been a good day so far. Thought I would carry some pepper gel spray but so far what I got isn't going to work for daily carry, the can is almost too thick by itself and any solid pouches for it won't work for conceal carry, they seem more for a duty belt. Tried the more powerful flashlights I have on my belt but the pouches I have are just too clumsy to access quickly and easily. Going to switch flashlight back to front pocket clip carry and try that. Have to switch my folding knife back to other front pocket with keys again. May dump pepper gel into daily carry bag that has extra flashlight and phone batteries, RAT tourniquet, israeli bandage, leatherman and accessories.
