Trigger Mike
Can you tell me more about the restoration that was done?
Peacemaker Reb
Mike, Carbine was purchased from an Estate sale, the owner was a Winchester collector that died, his collection sold by an estate company. I don't know if he had it restored or bought it restored for his collection. This SRC was checked by my gunsmith, and his inspection indicated that it was safe to shoot ,all internals are original and in very good condition; action is smooth, cycles easily, I loaded it with ten rounds and it was flawless to shoot. This carbine has all the correct, original,(including bbl. address; caliber markings; correct sights, serial number) features for a 3rd Model 1873 Winchester, and appears to have been an original SRC in very good condition before restoration. I would rate the the quality of the restoration work to be very good to excellent. Reb
