Turns out the Platters version was a cover, the original was released in the 30's by I don't know who??? The Platters version in the 50's was a huge hit!! Reason To Believe, I know that Rod Stewart sang this but I don’t know who originally released it. There were a lot of other releases, I think the Carpenters sang it too! The company I worked for furnished their busses and trailers. I even rode the drummer’s motorcycle to and from storage a couple of times. Talented band, but I never cared for their music!
