Forty Rod SASS 3935

Recommended Posts

I went to three different stores this morning, total time 1 hour 50 minutes.

I got all the toilet paper, paper napkins, and paper towels that I'll use for the next two years.  About 2 1/3-3X what they cost a years ago.

I got light bulbs and batteries no end.

I couldn't find any brand of red beets, sarsaparilla, mustard, or canned chili.

I couldn't find any shirts in my size....dozens in small to large but no men's sizes like 2x or 3x.

I couldn't find any fresh celery, bananas, cauliflower, or cantaloup.

I wasn't able to find anyone to help except a lady at Walmart who had no business being out of bed, much less running a cash register and bagging purchases.

All three store had shopping carts that were labelled as "clean and sanitized" and all three had carts with crap on all descriptions still in the baskets and dirty, sticky handles.

I want Biden and his mob to fix these problems as soon as they get through bashing conservatives and start to cure all the rest of the ills of this world

I think what Forty means is that sometime right after inauguration all will be right in the world and all the littlest problems will be taken care of and we’ll all sing Kumbaya and love one another...

I am exaggerating, of course.

But I don't know the words to Kumbaya!

Save yourself the trouble and just run your fingernails down a chalkboard. Same result but without the regurgitation. ;)

Hell, they been telling us for years that they are the fix for everything.  I'm just asking them to prove it.

Forty, try amazon.

I ordered some stuff from Amazon and they sent me a message that the people they sell for have not responded and suggested I contact them directly.  So, I didn't get an answer from the sarsaparilla people or the brand of beets I like, and left messages on the other places' phones.

This aint managers when every store in the country is out of the same identical items.

Anyone remember conservative radio commentator and author Neal Boortz?

I remember listening to his program when he described a couple of his Russian friends visitIng him in America.  They discussed politics at dinner and the Russians were not convinced America was better than Russia.  The next day Neal took them to a supermarket.  The wife wept.

Here’s hoping our wonderful politicians don’t kill what’s left of free market capitalism, strained though it may be.

1St thing that's goin to happen shortly after the middle of Jan is someone is going to revise any organization that is in place for Covid vaccinations and we will be back to square one and it will go downhill rapidly from there. We have an area where they mothball locomotives and the track area is about two miles long. For 12 out of the last 15 years the area was full from one end to the other. About three years ago they started disappearing, there have not been any there for the last 2 1/2 years. The bet going around here is the boneyard will be full again by March 1st.

I am in no way a conspiracy nut but,,,,,,I'm saying that come Jan. 6, 2021 a shovel full of cow flop will hit the rotating blades of the air distribution system.

If Trump wins,,,riots

If Biden wins,,, riots???

Biden orders a 14 day complete shutdown of everything? riots?

We have filled every nook and cranny of our house with food and supplies, and if I owned guns and ammo I would have a bunch set aside.

I doubt Biden can order a complete shutdown, it's up to the states.

I agree. But whats irritating is the liberals blaming Trump for the lack of action on COVID, but he's not responsible for that. Each State is.

I think the liberals think they can do most anything with an executive order. Kamala said within 100 days she'll issue and executive order banning assault rifles. She's already acting like she's the President!

If you liked the domestic & foreign policy of 2009 through 2016 Dementia Joe's term* will be fine with you with all the Obama administration retreads.

*His term probably will not last 4 years.

P.S.  Joe could shut down the economy by stopping interstate rail & road transportation except for food & household paper & cleaning products.  The severe lock down would have to last until at least June; because, until the percentage of the population that are immune due to having been infected or vaccinated reaches heard immunity levels lifting lock downs will see significant increase in infection rates.  Also the lock downs in CA & NY show that they drive people indoor into residences; where, contact tracing shows is where a huge majority of infections occur.

As a former store manager I can tell you it's not them. Blame the corporate higher-ups who force us to reduce overhead and shrink the payroll by any means necessary. Then blame the twits we are forced to hire who are incredibly stupid and lazy, but at least were cheap (often times they're the upper manager's son, friends or relatives). And then please don't blame us when these ultra-reliable employees call in sick every single Saturday and force us managers to oversee five different departments while running the register ourselves, answering the phones and working 16 hours before the day is out.

Having experienced all that I think I'd rather get a job shoveling crap in a stable than become a retail store manager again.
