Alpo
Thank you. That's how I've always pronounced it. I was just sitting here running through the alphabet to see if I could remember it all (I could not remember Q or U - alpha bravo charlie delta echo Fox golf hotel India Juliet kilo Lima Mike November Oscar papa something Romeo Sierra tango something Victor whiskey x-ray Yankee zulu). Couldn't think of very many words that started with q - queer? Question? - didn't seem like those would be good choices. And U? Unicorn, umbrella, unique? None of those seemed right either. Alpo
I know I've heard Juliet somewhere. Maybe they use Juliet in aviation. Uniform. That just makes way too much sense. Quebec?
