General experience is everyone gets pretty much the same discount, typically 10%. AAA, AARP, your credit card. All get the same discount. In some cases, the discount is off something that means the same as MSRP, in other words it may not actually be much if any discount. But it never hurts to ask and in some cases I have got a discount without showing the card (in person at a rental counter or hotel checkin).
