I know there is an ammunition shortage.

This evening I was walking through by local Mega Store and low and behold I spy some toys stacked in the middle of the isle......

It seems they are now selling a gun that shoots SPITWADS.

That's right ladies and gentlemen. You place a roll of toilet paper on the gun and fill the reservoir with water, Load the end of the roll into the chamber and voila!

You have an semi automatic firing SPITWAD RIFLE.

(I would have killed for one of these as a kid)

Well, isn’t that fun!

Have you ever seen what wet wadded up TP does to drywall, stuck, rough wood surfaces once dried? It is a PITA to get all of it off and it actually will stain wood surfaces. It’s almost as if it has a bleaching agent in it.

I truly hope parents fo not buy these things for their kids and they go by the wayside.

This is the perfect gift for my 8 year old nephew.

Give it to him just before they leave for home!

I just got one for Christmas. They do make a satisfying “thwack” when you hit something. I don’t think it will take down a shotgun plate though.

It is not semi-automatic, it is a single shot.

My wife bought a handful of those just after Christmas of last year thinking they would be cool presents.  Then came the pandemic.  Needless to say they are sitting in storage, although I did try one to see how well it worked.  It works ok, but makes a mess.
