45-70 Starter Set- SOLD

I have a 45-70 starter set for sale which includes the following:

Marlin 1895CB - This is a newer model gun with serial number of MR535xxx it is a used gun but certainly not an abused gun.  It probably has less than 100 shots through it.  https://www.marlinfirearms.com/lever-action/model-1895-big-bore/model-1895cb

Mounted on the gun is a Skinner Express sight, it is the blued version.  It blends in well with the gun and provides a great sight picture.

88 pieces of 45-70 brass - 50 once fired Starline, & 38 once fired federal.  The star line brass has been de-primed and resized.  The federal still has the primers in them.

Lee die set 45-70. https://leeprecision.com/3-die-steel-45-70.html I have used it only to de-prime and resize the 50 starline pieces above.

Opened box of Hornady 45 caliber .458” 300 grain hollow point bullets.  Of the original 50 there are still 45 left.  https://www.hornady.com/bullets/rifle/45-cal-458-300-gr-hp#!/

MTM Case guard 50 round ammo box for loaded shells. Model number: RLMD-50

I originally acquired this to be able to shoot long range matches, however there are very few places near me that do cowboy long range.  I have used it a couple of times deer hunting and it is great, but heavy to carry all day.  I do a lot of walking when deer hunting, but it would be great if you are just sitting in a stand.

This package can be yours for $1,200 + firearm shipping

I can ship the brass, bullets, die set, ammo case to you directly. I will pay for this shipping.

I will need to send the firearm, with sight attached, to your FFL, and you pay shipping.

If one of you Iowa boys are interested, let me know and we can do Face to Face.

Any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

Hello Clay,  Do you still have the original rear sights on the barrel?    If so I am tempted to take it!   PM sent.
