Well.....that's a pretty irresponsible thing to do when there are still guns out there to buy.:D:P

Got two safes full of guns, and work at a gun store.  I'm good there.  :)

No wonder you need money to pay bills! When I worked only Part time at a gunshop/range, I hardy ever saw any money and if I did it didn't last too long!

I still get the shakes when pre-lock Smith and Wesson revolvers come through the door.

Do you happen to have a S&W V-Comp in .357?    I know a fellow Cowboy shooter trying to find one.

Feds took $600 of my money and spent it all plus.  Now they are borrowing $600 with interest to give it back to me.  Sounds like buying votes to me.  Why didn't they just cut my taxes by $600 and save the interest and cost of sending "refunds"?

I'm hoping to boost my savings to the point that I can pay all my household bills for a couple of years if I become unemployed for any reason. This and any tax return will be banked this year.

A new arm is worth more than cash in the bank the way prices have increased these last months.

Over the thirteen years that I worked full and part time in gun shops I never got home with a full pay check.  Not once.

Our last stimulus check was used to pay income taxes.

A 2nd check for $600 won't make a dent in any gee-whiz rifle I might like to own.
A savage Long Range Precision Varminter, single-shot in .223 would be fun...
But I don't reload for .223, and all the components are nowhere to be found.

I would pony up for an 8-lb tub of H4895 if I could find it... good luck with that.

Don’t worry, we are giving Pakistan 10 million for gender studies and another 15 million for something else as part of the bill.  I’m sure they are figuring out how to spend their Christmas money too along with countless other pet projects, not like anyone in the US could have kept more of their own money...

That's what I did with the last one... it went towards an old pre-dash Model 29. :D

This time I'm not sure. The few guns left out there that I still want are too expensive for me to afford, even with a stimulus check helping out. Of course it's not a bad dilemma to have, especially since for many folks it's going to have to be be used to pay rent or back taxes.

Beautiful!

I'll show mine when it gets placed in the room I bought it for. Now, I have an old oak chair that creeks and has made a black spot (metal shavings that won't clean or vacuum up) on the rug that is under it. That is not really a big deal as moths ate all of the wool off it where it was under the sofa in Sacramento. So, the old rug will go under the bed to hide those blemishes. It's really still useable and pretty (IMO) too.

Here is the old rug.

Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCLH)....early on they had enough cash on hands to sustain an estimated 3 years, think they dipped down to around 7 at low point and I got in around 12.  It was up to 29 a couple weeks ago, but back dow to 23ish....Held pretty steady between 55-65 the last 10 years.

Now the president says he wants it to be 200 not 600.  You could buy a couple of good guns with 2 grand or buy a colt saa

Or a box of primers...
