Pee Wee #15785
Seen a 20" round barreled JM Marlin today. Didn't know they made a 20" round barreled model. Is it a very rear item, harder to find than a hex barreled one or did someone do some work on the barrel

TN Mongo, SASS #61450
Like Warden, mine was made by putting a new "old stock" .44-40 barrel on my .44 mag Marlin 1894.

Pee Wee #15785
I have been looking for several years and had not found one I could buy. 1894 Marlins in .44-40 just don't show-up for sale.

Tom Bullweed
I have a 1990s Marlin 1894 in .44 Magnum. I also have a spare barrel in .44 Mag. If I came across a good deal for an 1894 in .44 Mag or .45 Colt, I would but it, have the new barrel modified to .44WCF and installed.
Three Foot Johnson
I didn't know they were that rare of an item. I have two 1894S .44-40 models, both 20" round barrels, one with a golden trigger and one with blue. One s/n starts with 25 and one with 24, so I assume 1975 and 1976 manufacture? Both came from the SASS Wire classifieds here about 6 years ago.
Pee Wee #15785
Checked the S/N it starts 4440------ my brother let me put some rounds down range with it. Siad I could play with it but couldn't have it.
