I've recently finished Max Prasac's second book on big bore revolvers. Shouldn't have done that. Ugh. Now 44 magnum, which I love, does not seem all that magnum anymore. I'd rather the caliber be 475 Linebaugh or similar but the gun available is 500 SW. Maybe my Jeep will need new tires suddenly or something... JD Lud Posted November 26, 2020 Share Posted November 26, 2020 Dan....this thread made me think about the 3 boxes of 280AI Nosler ammo I have sitting here, with no rifle for it. now I’m contemplating a rifle just for them but man they are expensive. So far my top budget option is the Lipseys limited run of the Ruger Hawkeye African which can be found for under 1k and maybe a Leupold 2.5-8 on it. Love a cooper open country long range but ouch...
