Abilene, SASS # 27489
Pretty nice and pretty pricey. Their website says they are making limited numbers, but I haven't heard of any new ones in years. Heard they were too busy with contracts for modern guns. Pit Bull Tex
You think they are heavier than the TTN?I found one but I have not had it in my hands.
Abilene, SASS # 27489
How heavy is a TTN? Pioneer says theirs is 8.7 to 9.04 lbs depending on barrel length.
Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329
Yes, they feel heavier than the TTN. Feels massive in your hands -- solidly built shotgun! I had one for a couple of years. But, every time I was loading up for a match, I always grabbed my TTN. So, I sold it while they were still a "hot item". --Dawg

Tommy Reb
Extremely well made. Greener style action. I had internal choke tubes installed in mine and use it for quail hunting. TR
Tex Jones, SASS 2263
As I recall, one issue was that the manufacturer wouldn't agree to wholesale pricing for importers/distributors and insisted on the retail price.
