watab kid Posted November 17, 2020 Share Posted November 17, 2020 something about a five string makes me feel real comfortable , probably the arkansas/missouri roots but i have no issue with that or the speech patterns - i grew up with them , i do have a yankee dialect and in the latter part of life probably a minnesotan [which is different than the iowa-nebraska-kansas i was raised in] but im real comfortable in the south , not sure thats quite where this strain of mountain talk is - they sound more appellation south eastern to me , but its not all that unfamiliar , Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
