Text alerts me, open laptop, place order. Order is confirmed. 2 or 3 hours later, I get an email saying, "sorry, your item is out of stock." Huh? I ordered because you texted me that YOU had it in stock, at that price. It's like a clerk waving you in from the parking lot, and by the time you walk in they run out. This has happened twice from the same store. Once in September, and once yesterday. Am I being played or is there a plausible explanation? I can't be on-line any faster. Also, they may get 100 boxes in stock and suddenly find themselves with 101 orders before they can pull the plug on the "in stock" notification. .
