Pee Wee #15785
I have a "Marbles type tang sight" made by Smith Ent with adjustment for wind and elevation. I need two set screws for it. Anyone know the thread size for the very small set screw at the top that keeps the sight shaft centered? Also need the thread size in back for the windage that locks the shaft or stops it turning when bumped. As I understand the sight is not made any more. Is there some place where I could get a base for my Rossi 92 no safety in .44 WCF.

Pee Wee #15785
Yes but has both a short and long shaft. It has a short mounting unit. 2 holes about 1/2" apart. Think it is a Marlin/Ballard mount..
Griff
I looked at mine, it only has one small set screw thru the bottom of the shaft to adjust the shaft against the back of the base to keep it in an "upright" position.
Griff
Pee Wee, I tried to take mine out and I just don't have the right size allen wrench. The one I could fit in would just spin, (mighta been a metric allen wrench), and I don't wanna bugger up my screw. I've only got about one-½ threads on the back side stickin' out, not enough to accurately give you the pitch.
