It doesn't say they killed it - it says they captured it. That's an awful damn dead looking snake to me. Is the news afraid to say that an animal was killed? Captured, removed... like you said nobody wants to say "killed" anymore because that would upset the Bambi types who think these snakes should be left alone to gobble up the rest of the ecosystem rather than be killed by these evil humans.
