My mom always gave me tomato soup. I never really liked it.

Tomato soup is one thing that tastes good to me even if I'm sick. A lot of people say food doesn't taste good when they're sick because if you're congested you can't smell as well. But I have virtually no sense of smell for normal everyday things. It's got to be something like pvc glue right under me. Most people don't realize how bad I am until they happen to be in a situation with me and they witness me not smelling whatever the foul smell is.

Tomato soup requires a grilled cheese sandwich doesn't it?

Yep, it does.  White bread and plain old American cheese.

Lots of real Irish butter on the sandwich and about a quarter of a stick in the soup with salt and ground black pepper.

Howdy,

A local place has a tuesday special of grilled cheeze and tortilla soup.

I went there a number of times and we tried adding bacon to the sandwich

also grilled onions. and of course both.

Just enuf bacon to nicely cover the bread. Applewood bacon if possible.

I havent had any in a while due to c19.

Maybe if it doesnt rain they will serve outside or maybe just order to go.

But toast is best hot and fresh....hmmmmm.

Best

CR

I like Campbell's tomato soup in a mug with a grilled ham and cheese with mayo. I use heavy whipping cream instead of milk or water in the condensed soup with some pepper.

Have you every used mayo instead of butter on the outside of  the bread when making grilled cheese sandwiches? If you like mayo give it a  try. If you don't like mayo please don't whine about how you hate mayo.  It's very unbecoming.:P
