Bid was $13,000,000.00 for the Remington assets Sans Marlin, which went to Ruger. Apparently, Remington Factory will remain open in llion, NY. Talks between Roundtree and Union leaders stated that the 700 jobs will remain. Apparently the bid is successful. No information on what will be product line. Marlin, Ammo, semi-auto stuff, etc, etc, The bid you mention is for the assets (machinery, building, etc.) in Ilion. Not sure what they plan to make there.
