Texas Maverick 80
For sale, 1 - nice 1967 Marlin rifle with a JM stamp in 35 Rem with a Leupold VX-1 3x9x40 scope with covers I had mounted with a quick detachable mount. I bought it and never used it. It is a pre-safety, gold trigger with a hammer extension and front sight hood. It has been just sitting in the safe for the past 3 years. I would like $800 plus shipping to your FFL. If you do not want it with the scope I would reduce the price by $200 for rifle only. You can see a few little scuff marks in the picture but overall it is in excellent shape. If a local purchase is done I have 3 boxes of ammo plus 1 box of brass that I would negotiate with the purchase. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks TM Edited November 12, 2020 by Texas Maverick corrected ammo numbers
Trigger Mike 1,044
Good rifle. My dad hunted with one in 35 remington and took deer with it and gave it to me before he died. My sons have used it.

I heard nothing but good things about it and I bought it for deer hunting but got hooked by my Savage 6.5 Creedmoor. It is accurate and I have it zeroed at 200 yards with a Leupold VX-3 with the special dial and can go clear out to 600 yards if necessary. I have taken 10 deer with it so far over 3 years so the 35 Rem just sits in the safe. TM
Capt'n Rudy 7
This is one great rifle. I bought one last year from the original owner who bought it new in 1960. I added a Nikon 3 to 9 x 40 and started casting 200 gr gas checked bullets for it. Last trip to the range it had five rounds in 1 1/4 inches at 100 yards and nine rounds at one and three-quarter inches at 100 yards. It’s a pleasure to shoot and I prefer it over my Winchester 1894 in 3030.

I put the scope on it and fired 20 rounds to just check it out and then put it up. Might have to take it back out to the range and fire off the other 40 rounds I bought for it. Trigger Mike 1,044
My oldest son lokes it because the scope sits high enough he can use the iron sights for close shots and the scope for further out. He took a deer with it last year

Slim, I just checked out the match and it follows our annual Revenge match on the 24th and 25th so I don't think I can make this match up in OK. If I understand correctly this will be the site for the new annual EOT in 2022 just north of Edmond, OK. Let me know if I can answer any other questions. I can check to see if anyone is planning on going if you are really interested. Thanks TM
