***SPF*** WTS: Ruger Vaquero Revolvers, .357 Mag, 4.5" Barrels, Stainless

***SPF*** For sale is a beautiful pair of Ruger Vaquero revolvers chambered in .357 Magnum/.38 Special.  They are both stainless steel with 4.5" barrels.  They have been very gently used, not in competition, and have nice actions and excellent bores.  They are six serial numbers apart (14458 & 14464) and were both made on 11/12/2001.  As far as I know they are factory original and can be used as such, or customized however you wish.  These are fantastic revolvers, capable of handling both light CAS loads, or powerful hunting loads.  Both come in their original factory numbered boxes, with all accessories.  It's getting more difficult and expensive to find these, especially in this condition, as time goes by.  $1,485 shipped to your FFL in the lower 48 (AK & HI additional).

Southwest Shooter.  Maybe I'm mistaken, naive, ill-informed, etc.  I kind of figured that finding a pair in this exact configuration, in excellent original condition, with almost sequential numbers and original cases, manuals and paperwork might not be cheap or easy anymore.  Maybe I'm dead wrong about that.  Oregonian

And why are these hard to find?

Thanks

Because the vast majority of them have run hard, been abused and gunsmithed badly.  It's not hard to find original Vaquero's, it's hard to find them in stock, unaltered and virtually new condition.
