***SOLD***  For sale is a very, very nice 'JM' marked, pre-safety Marlin 1894 made in 1977.  It is chambered in .44 Rem Magnum and also accepts .44 Special cartridges.  The 20" Micro-Groove barrel is bright and shiny and in excellent condition.  This rifle has had an easy life, a safe queen used for occasional plinking- no hunting or competition.  The metal is in excellent condition, the only blemish I see is a minor mark just ahead of the loading gate.  The wood is very nice, with a few small nicks and scratches on the stock (the most noticeable being near the "bullseye").  The forearm is excellent.  The screwheads (one of my pet peeves) are perfect, showing no signs of tampering.  They don't make them like this anymore and the nice ones are getting harder and harder to find.  $950 shipped to your FFL in the lower 48.  ***SOLD***

Trades?

Not looking for any CAS gear.  The only items I'm currently open to would be a LWRC Ambi M4/AR lower receiver, an early Ruger Redhawk .44 Mag 5" barrel or a Beretta BM59/BM 61.

Not surprised, those aren't exactly 'hot ticket' items on this forum.

$45 price reduction.  I'm going to let it ride here for the weekend and then list it on Gunbroker on Sunday evening.
