I'm not tired of them.

I disconnected myTV feed going on two years ago.  I sleep better, have calmer discourses with people, lowered my bp a few points, don't get indigestion as ofter nor as bad as I used to, and I just don't give a damn any more

I'm with 40.  We haven't had the TV on since we moved here in 2017.  Now Uno is using the TV as a 32" monitor!!!  We may get another one in the future for movies but that will be all.

All those mentioned commercials are FAR overshadowed by the endless political ads... all negative: "Ol' so-and-so is a liar and comes from a rotten family!"  Usually each is immediately followed by the opponent's.

Not one of those that I've seen contain any promises of specific goals if elected.

Good Lord.  Local "radio guy" Ray Appleton has for years called this "The Silly Season."  I can think of more graphic - and accurate - terms.  -_-

I have watched just a few hours of regular TV in the past decade. I watch Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. That’s it. I have tried Hulu and HBO on my Play Station 3.  We had cable when I moved to California again. I watched one hour of it and turned it off. We got the cable deal just for the Internet.
Recently I tried watching a show called Warehouse 13 on Amazon Prime that came with ads. I think I made it 4 episodes in before dumping that show.
I can’t imagine having to put up with political ads now.
At work the guys watch tv in the break room. I refuse to watch it.

Is anybody else getting tired of these ridiculous TV ads like Liberty Mutual's EMU, or Progressive's rather dated "Flo commercials", etc., etc, etc?

Liberty Biberty?

The TV may be on but usually the wife and I are on the internet and really never see what's on. It's just background noise.

Cut the cable cord years ago and don’t watch any TV with commercials except for The Grit Channel which shows nothing but old cowboy movies. Commercials come every 6 minutes so I don’t actually watch it. But it’s great background noise while I clean/work on guns and sort brass.

Anyway, the ads that irritate me are the ones from the ambulance chasing attorneys, snake oil medical supply & remedies, pharmaceutical companies, insurance and payday loans.

I am NOT looking forward to political commercials that will probably start the first of October and run on and on and on:blink::(

October??

We've been bombarded for at least two weeks.  Maybe three.  :(

I am beyond sick of them. I have my flintlock fowling piece ready to load, and shoot the first emu I see.

At least "Flo" isn't bad to look at...better than that buttock-ugly bird!

I mute all political commercials...I already know the candidates that support us.

Netflix and prime, and our local library network (dozens of libraries, public and school) have tons of CVCs and even a few tapes available.  Don't accept any from Sedona.  They have a one week / six day limit on check outs, and the entire series of Babylon Five in one package can't been seen that quickly.  Lots of oldies and Brit sitcoms and mysteries that I find very entertaining.

Don't shoot the emu, he's the funniest part! Shoot that annoying peckerwood.

Unfortunately studies have proven that negative campaign ads definitely work, which is why everyone does it now. It's more of a sad commentary on the voters in this country than it is the politicians.

I haven't had TV in nearly a decade, and I don't miss it. As for commercials, I always liked the goofy Geico ads but that was about it.

Geico is great. They made me wish I had a basement so I could have a Ratt problem too! You dang woodchucks quit chucking my wood!

Best commercials were the golden oldies by Anheiser Busch, with the Clysdales, and the talking critters.

I remember the frogs.

On another road, I hate to remind you gentle folks that the political ads will get much more numerous as

election day draws near.  There are some well healed dudes out there that are going to flood the airwaves

with their choice's campaigns. And the media will be the big winners.

Liberty is bad, but some of Flo's are still funny.  We DVR most of what we watch, so about the only time I see a commercial is on the news, where Medicare supplemental policies and VA re-fis are never-ending.
