Charlie Harley's post had me dragging out my old DD214. Today is his 30th year since parting company with Uncle Sugar and it's my 50th. Time flies!

Drinks are on me (during happy hour only:P) Canteen cups will be provided.

Wow, fifty eight years since the Maine Corps on the 24th. :P I got the cake as oldest Marine at The Birthday last year.  :(

We were soldiers.....and oh so young.  I was young once but I wasn't very good at it.

 

Army August 9, 1965 to August 11, 1969.

Army Reserve August 21, 1969 to November 21, 1972.

Marines November 21, 1972 to November 12, 1978.

WOW I wasn’t paying attention! 
September 9, 1970 I jumped Ship. 
Your right Utah, who’d a thunk it.

 I went right to school to register.

GI Bill paid tuition and now I are an injuneer. :lol:

Like Bob I was married, Susan taught school and I went to college.

With credit from college before the Navy I graduated in September 1972 (after one last course in summer school). 

Great memories, thanks for reminding me.
