Wyatt Penny, SASS #19029
Cowboys, I have a pair of Colt simulated ivory two piece grips that need fitting to a 3rd Generation Colt Single Action Army. I have used Tru Ivory in the past, but I hear they are out of business. If true, does anyone know anyone who can custom fit grips to a Colt SAA? My grips or theirs? Warden Callaway
Is cost an issue? Bill Fuchs at Spring Creek Armory in Ten Sleep Wyoming is doing some outstanding grip work. https://springcreekarmory.com/gun-of-the-month
Hashknife Cowboy
https://classicsingleaction.com/index.php Joe Perkins in Tucson does amazing work and it is worth the wait. https://www.reedercustomguns.com/ Gary Reeder makes amazing grips, ranging from Mastadon (the real stuff) to a imitation ivory made by Dupont. Enclosed is a pict of the Dupont ivory.
