I have double mag pouches with extended magazines in each of my vehicles!!  When carrying a revolver, I keep a pair of speed loaders in my coat pocket.

 

If I'm carrying the revolver, it's because I'm dressed more formally and am having to wear a jacket.

To my everlasting shame, I've gotten out of the habit of carrying a spare mag on me.  Since we can open carry here in Oklahoma now, I rarely wear anything to cover with and my normal mag carrier was a Fobus owb.  I always kinda figured if I can just make it back to the truck, I'm golden. Of course the only places I go are the hardware store and the feed store so I won't be the only one shooting back either.
