There is actually a far right group that posted a claim that rapists and pedophiles connected with Epstein are being shielded by the media and that Trump was waging a war secret war against said coverup. The reporter did ask Trump the question in the video and he did answer it as portrayed in the video. Three important takeaways from the video. 1. The questioned was asked in an attempt to disparage the President. That was its sole purpose. I find it insulting and disrespectful to the office of the president no matter who is occupying the chair. 2. It was worded in such a way that no matter how he answered it would give the leftist media more fodder for their war against Trump. I thought is answer was very clever. He acknowledged the group and did not alienate any of its members. 3. If you look at the question critically wouldn't any reasonable person want sexual predators exposed rather than allowing them to hid behind powerful and influential people.? They said that they were going to alternate - on Monday Wednesday and Friday one of them was going to sell drugs while the other one made porn movies, then on Tuesday Thursday and Saturday the first one would make porn while the second one would sell drugs. but they would do neither on Sunday because Sunday was a day of rest. And then they ran off giggling. This was major news - the vice president's daughters were going to make dirty movies and sell drugs. It was in all the papers, all the magazines, all the TV news, and all the internet news. The Veep was told he had to give a news conference and apologize to the country for his wayward children. So he gets up there and instead he apologizes to the American public for the stupidity of the press. "My daughters live in the real world, where there are things called jokes. That is what this was." And a reporter stands up and says, "so your daughters are not really going to sell drugs or make dirty movies?" And the Veep says, "sit down. Shut up. No more stupid questions." Now if this was not a doctored video - if that reporter actually asked that question of the president, that's how he should have responded. "Sit down. Shut up. No more stupid questions."
